Lonnie + Annie, Same Day Edit

We fell in love with this couple. And once I post a piece of their Love Story video, I think you will too. :) We had an amazing time with them all day Saturday - we showed up early to find Julianne and Lonnie about ready to get dressed for their first meeting. It truly was a heartfelt moment, beautifully placed next to an old brick wall, thanks to the fab Chris with La Brisa Photography. Chris and I had chatted a bit prior to meeting on Saturday and decided to try and surprise the bride and groom with a Same Day Edit at the reception, which they totally weren't expecting. We managed to pull it off successfully, resulting in shrieks, smiles, tears and hugs :) Check out the SDE video that was the surprise below.. and then check out La Brisa's images below!

Andy + Julie, Madison, WI

We traveled to Madison, Wisconsin last weekend to film the wedding of a high school friend Andy and his gorgeous bride Julie. What a blast it was! I love shooting in new places and this one was definitely great scenery. Our day began bright and early at the salon for hair and makeup, then back to the hotel to put on the dress. They were married at Burrows Park in a lakeside ceremony where the weather held up to be PERFECT, after an 80% chance of rain scare! We then went for photos at the state capital and on to the reception at the Zor Shrine building. What an amazing feeling to be able to share the day with a couple so in love.. enjoy these highlights and an image from fab photographer Leah with Leah Marie Photography!

A-mazing! Sheena's been a friend of mine for a few years and I was so excited when Nestor finally popped the question! We filmed a Love Story video with them as well which was a huge hit at their reception. Wes + Audrey, Lincoln, NE Wedding

Tear jerker. Those are the first words that come to mind when I think of the emotions that flew during this entire day! Audrey first came to us over a year before the wedding, wanting to put together a slideshow video for Wes for Father's day featuring their beautiful daughter Avery singing to him. She mentioned she was also planning her wedding and so we started chatting.. Audrey's wedding was one we have been looking forward to for SO long as we saw all her details come together every time we would chat. June 12, 2010 was the day and everything was perfect.. She was a gorgeous bride and the love between her and Wes glowed from them both the entire day. We met up with her at Illusions Salon where she works as a stylist, and then followed her to the church. At their first meeting, tears were flowing and the emotions continued all day. This is a must see video.. I can almost guarantee tears towards the end, but I'm not going to ruin the surprise! :)

Studio E Photography

The amazingly talented Elli from Studio E approached me early this year with an idea to do a marketing video to help promo her senior photo shoots.. after chatting a bit, I was completely stoked! We rounded up some senior models and did a photo shoot one Sunday down in the HayMarket in Lincoln. The footage was awesome and I think the video turned out pretty cool! Shawn & Rebecca

What an amazing day this was! Shawn and Rebecca have been two of my good friends for the past few years and I knew this day was going to be a blast. I brought along my good friend Matt with Elwood Photography to give him a chance to try his hand at video.. I must say, I was pretty impressed! We started at Salon Jane where the girls had their hair done (by Rebecca's fab personal attendant, Suzanne) and then I followed out to Staplehurst, NE for the first meeting and ceremony. The limo bus ride took us out to a one lane bridge by Seward which made for a great photo opp. Once we arrived at the Ag Pavilion, our DJ Kurtis helped give our couple an entrance to Chris Brown's "Forever" that no one there will forget!
