2008 Tuition Mission

We took a break from weddings this week to help with the KFRX Tuition Mission 2008 and it has a been a blast! If you haven't been following along, you can see all the videos/photos and information at the KFRX website. If you aren't familiar with the challenge, KFRX selected 20 students to live on a school bus for a week, parked behind the Union on City Campus. They have to stay on the bus 24 hours a day, unless they are doing challenges or eating lunch - they also get one 15 minute bathroom break every 2 hours. KFRX takes everything they bring with them, and they are only allowed the clothes on their back while on the bus. The days begin at 6am with Army wakeup and bus inspection, then the challenges ensue. It continues until 10pm when they are finally allowed to sleep. Whoever can survive the challenges and stay on the bus until Saturday will win free tuition and books for a year, up to $10,000. It has been a great time hanging with the staff and DJs from KFRX and we look forward to helping them again! You can check out everything from the bus here! James & Liz

On June 28, 2008 we were honored to Video the wedding of James & Liz. They had a small intimate ceremony at the Apothecary with just their close family and friends. It was the first time I got to work with Elli from Studio E and she took everyone outside on an awesome photo shoot! I had a lot of fun - enjoy their highlights and Elli's photos from their day!

Kyle & Michele

Kyle & Michele were married last weekend on August 2, 2008. Their wedding was absolutely amazing - they have the best story and every little detail was tied into the first time they met. The reception was held at the Sesostris Shrine Center on Hwy 77 & Saltillo Rd, where they first met at her Dad's John Deere Auction. They had the same auctioneer for the garter auction, their first date was listening to BreakAway band and they were providing the music that night - Kyle even changed into the clothes he was wearing that first day they met and came out to surprise her during the garter auction. It was awesome! I was there taping from the hair salon through the bouquet and garter - it's going to be an awesome video. I also got to work with Elli from Studio E Photography - she is so amazingly talented and I enjoyed working with her and Tannon. Her pictures are below, along with their video highlights and a piece of their Love Story video that was played for guests at their reception.
